I'm lazy, so I just use S100 total cycle cleaner. Spray it on a cold bike, hose it off, then go for ride to dry it off.

Not at all.... I use it on both bikes and have not had any issues. I have never run the bike with the stuff wet, so I'm not sure about then... but once it is dry is works better & easier than anything I have used previously.Leckbass wrote: doesn't it burn when the motor gets hot?

It works really great for getting splattered bugs off your bikes paint and windscreen. Use it with a micro-fiber cloth and you can't go wrong! Works on chrome too!
