...on my Versys in 23 days. Would have put a few hundred more on it but I can't forget my CTX!!! Rode it for a few of those 23 days.
So far, the Versys is an awesome bike! Handles great and the suspension is very smooth. I'm really liking that Versys and glad I was in the right place at the right time!

The big one or baby versys? If the lt had been shaft instead of chain, I would have probably bought it instead of the Connie. I really like the Honda vfr1200, but not enough to part with the Connie.
Glad you're enjoying it...

Which "baby" model??? Now they make a Versys 300, which is selling very well! I wouldn't have thought that but there's a few CTX owners who went the 300x route. Also, the NC700 forum has a specific thread for Versys 300x owners!
From what I've been reading the 300x can ride the freeways just fine, albeit the lighter weight makes it shimmy.
But to answer your question, mine is the 650 abs model.

Ok the baby versys. Good bike. I like the bigger versys, just an ergonomic thing.

Congrats on the 1,000 miles. I would have that much also if I could get the 650 Burgman. I guess I need to start saving up for one.

Have fun! Only 1,000 mile day for me was 1,030. Age 55 on my 1500 Kaw Nomad. Guess my 650 Vstrom is more like what you have now. Did one 900+ day on it at age 69 and felt great with next days ride. Smaller bikes can be real good for solo touring IMO .10,300 longest trip on the 650. Light is so much better the older you become.
