My used to have Intruder...

I am sure no one remembers...and that's ok...I gave my Intruder to my nephew....he stripped off all the mods I made and it looked like it had been on a diet...progressive shocks made it ride better than I thought it could...I had it rather stiff for handling...but now you can just putt along....of course it still runs well...not jetted, but has slimmer needles that pull up quicker and they put the bike pretty much back to where the 1400 was when it was introduced. I have since had a Triumph Rocket III Touring....hit a deer and totalled that....and the deer swung around and somehow broke my ankle...oh well.....have two Harleys now...one is going to get a new engine...and the other is running like a hot rod. Or maybe the one not running can contribute parts to the one that is....both antiques, so finding parts...aftermarket bits vary in quality from so so to junk....well it's an adventure...but by now Intruders are antiques so I guess the same problem exists.
