Almost a year ago to the day we had major flooding in QLD and Northern NSW that affected thousands of businesses with flood damaged stock.
My buddies bike shop was no exception. They had all their stuff insured, so they sent all the flood damaged stock away to be assessed.
One year on they bought back most of the "salvageable" stuff for 10 cents in the dollar. They've been having flood sales over the past few months (I got a pair of O'Neal ADV boots for nice and cheap).
Anyway, my buddy turns up last night with 3 boxes of "stuff" that was otherwise going to be thrown out. Lucky dip time, perhaps?
Here's box #1
And here are the contents spread out on the table
Some things of note....
A couple of Suzuki starter motors
Some Honda cruiser cover
Some tail lights for Hyosungs
And a bunch of fuel pump filter kits (Honda and Suzuki)
There was also a bunch of gaskets, piston kits, chains, body panels, etc, etc.....and this is just in one box.
It's already doing my head in trying to work out what to do with this stuff - I don't know whether to thank him or hit him
What's in the box???

Nice score. I see and ebay store in your future. Or you could try selling some of it here. https://www.motorcycleforum.com/
If you have any type of electrical issue, have your battery load tested before you do anything else. Any auto parts store will test it for free.

Re: What's in the box???
OK so it's been a while.....here's 2 more...
Some interesting stuff in these....GL1800 fog lamp kit:
Suzuki Old Skool fork leg (unfortunately only one):
Has the anti-dive port so it's either 1150 or early GSXR750/1100
GSXR750 engine covers:
Pazzo levers off something (probably Gixxer):
This loose shock spring....which I didn't think too much of until I saw the brand
Looks like a Thruxton LHS muffler?
Honda CB500F/X/R centre stand:
Race Tech springs:
Engine cover for a Triumph - probably Thruxton:
Another shock spring - this time Race Tech:
Complete set of Bandit 1250 engine crash bars:
And finally some VMX brake shoes:

If you put together a list of the Triumph parts and send them I will post them on Triumph Rat for you. Lots of guys from 'down under' on there.
If you have any type of electrical issue, have your battery load tested before you do anything else. Any auto parts store will test it for free.
