What is the fitting on the forward cylinder valve cover. I'm guessing like a crankcase breather. Bought my bike and there's nothing attached to it but you can feel it push some air out of it.

Is it supposed to have a hose or filter attached to it??

It should have a hose that connects to the front air box, it vents to the front air box.

So I got around to pulling the tank. The airbox is gone and it has pod filters. What should I do about venting?

Put a short hose on it and let it dangle. The end result is to not let water get in there....like when you are washing the bike.

That's what I was thinking of doing. Thanks! On a side not if I use a 3 inch holesaw to cut out the baffles the bike will deffinatly need a rejet right? On stock exhaust

Do a little research before you gut the baffles, re-jetting is a bag of worms.

What about just drilling the baffles? Should still be plenty back pressure right?

I successfully drilled (3) 5/8" holes in only the first baffle of my vs800, utilizing stock filters, with no rejet.
Your results may vary.
Again do some research, there is no 'one size fits all' answer

Hey what is the diameter of the breather tube. I'm at work and we have tubing I just can't find the size I need. Thanks for the help!

Measure it when you get home.
