About to get on it and head to the parts stores and glass shop.

I had a set of bars bent and painted them with Rustoleum mat black, should be cured enough to fit by tomorrow.

I ordered new grips today and daydreamed of a time when there is no snow on the ground so I can hit the road.

Adjusted the valves, changed clutch fluid.

I am getting ready to go out and ride it yet again. The Energizer Bunny has nothing on the Suzuki Intruder.

Took a temp dive today and back in mid 40s. Took my day dope ride.lots call me the old dope that rides all winter.Went all back road for a hour on the truch like 1600.We get spring back the next few days .Checked and aired rear tire on C50 then fed my Tom cat that came running down the road.He loves to fight and love so guess he made it through the fights as looks ok after away all day.

Synced the carbs, reinstalled saddle bags.
I want to RIDE....damn snow won't leave.

Today I smiled at it. Have to work sometime so on the road for the next two days.

Big Bird and me both had Nomads at the same time.Had over 82,000 on mine when sold and his was a year newer but was catching up when he wrecked it pulling the home on wheels at a railway crossing I think in Ga.? Only met him once in a rally ride out of Ky..The cow hat just looked right on him! Met his straight man Raymond on a planned half day ride when he came to see his sister that is in Kentucky..Guess they leveled each other as Raymond seems about 180 from Emu..Both fun good people [emoji106] .

Two rides yesterday.1600 to meet old coots and then late one on Vstrom.Early ride today on the too loud and heavy 1600. Most bad dogs will retreat if you pull the clutch and rev a few times at them on it. [emoji2] I rode with a guy on a superglide in the 70s that had a freon type boat horn on his bars.He loved back roads and that shrill sound would turn every dog that came after us around.Guess it hurt the ears?

Took off both side panels and sanded and painted them.

Rode the Vstrom to meet old coots.So nice 59 and sun.Three of us rode to motorcycle shop after and up to 70 when I rode home but wind getting bad. Rain and storms tonight called for but mild temps all week.

Waiting on Angie to get ready then riding to lunch and a few backroads before heading home. Have babysitting duty to four grandkids tonight.

Fitted the new bars I was messing with, a much better seating position for me.
Fitted new fuel lines.
Took off for an afternoon's ride around the local canals.

Sadly nothing today unless I am able to squeeze in a dinner run tonight. The weather is beautiful here too. But I have the car from hell to work on and, as usual, its owner doesnt show up til lunchtime for me to do it.

Rained first half of day.Still warm at 59.Kid came for awhile and that's all ways nice even if she is 50 now . Grandson did not make it this week.After the kid went home to get ready for the big ball game KY. and NC. rolled the big star out for a short ride and when sky got dark again came home.Head just cleared up and do not need hearing gone again.Game will be tough.We beat them early in year but one Ky.player got 41! We beat UCLA in a hard game this week in sweet 16 and they had beat us this year.Still think NC is a better team and a few Ky. players will have to go better than usual like Fox did to UCLA.

Rain off and on again today and a wee bit cooler. Had somethings to do in town so got on C50 in between showers and made it back before the next one [emoji106] Guess will take Vstrom to meet old coots in the morning. Too many to pick from is better than none but sure would like to get back down to three again.Most my old coot friends have three or more but they have nice newer stuff.Guess I run with too high class for me but they say I am all ways good fun on trips.They all were raised poor like me but are worth way more now but I was more the grass hopper than ant when we all were growing up.
