I can't seem to win the lottery. I think I have used up all of my good luck riding motorcycles.

Re: bikes of the 70's
Had a new 1977 and 1978 GS 750 fours plus two used ones.A new 1978 GS 1000 .New1980 GS 1100 and a rare new 1983 GS 1100 ES that I sold a few years ago to a collector. All saw drag racing the 1977 750 and 1983 1100 more than the rest.Still have some hardware won on shelves.Lots of fun and good flash backs but like pouring money down a hole if you go most week ends.
The old line...bullet proof...is not used much at the drag strip. Have blown a hole out the rear engine case at red line and four quarts of hot oil right in front of all ready spining rear wheel!!!Its a wonder I am alive. Most the time felt far better safe wise at strip than on highway.

My new 74 was OK.Nice looking motor but burnt a cam and tower out at 30,000! You have to pull the motor to take the cam cover off!
The new 77GS 750 Suzuki I replaced it with was ten times the better bike IMO.

I owned an H2 same color as the one in the first video. Might be the worst bike I've ever owned. I also owned three CB 550-4's Really liked those.

Paul I owned a old 500CB four. Not as nice as the 550 that replaced it but smooth.
The H2s that rode with us were fast in a line and that was about only good thing. Really hard on gas and would get the front wheel way top high. Plus handled real bad in about any kind of cruve.
