Got Elsie some new bars....

I put a little over 200 km on her yesterday and my wrists are thanking me... I also always thought the old bars looked a little too skinny on such a beefy bike. The 1 1/4" bars look better to me.

And a whole lot easier to pull the wiring through also.....We changed some bars on a good friend wife's bike..same diameter as the stock bars but just a different angle like you did.....instead of purchasing new wiring ( longer and much more expensive) we just added wiring where needed...problem was we had to double the soldering because twice the soldered wiring broke and became separated, which you know was a major hassle when we finally checked to see if the lights, etc was working LOL..... we tried with wire connectors but they were too thick..so we had to go with soldering and electrical tape.
Being the diameter of the bars were the same there wasn't enough room for anything much bigger than the stock wiring..it was a major bitch..
.But we succeeded after several tries.. [emoji106]

PS: kool beans with the new bars... I agree with you..looks way better with the larger diameter bars [emoji106]

My '02 Harley Deuce had the same diameter bars....really brought out the 6" risers also..even with the skinny profile [emoji106]
