I assume some people on this forum have experience shipping gas tanks, Just wondering what kind of cost i would be looking at. Also who to use to ship, ups, usps, fed-ed, or is there some other company thats better? Thanks.
Not sure if this is the right place to post but let's give it a shot

Make sure it is dry and fume free.
UPS or FedEx have the best rates.
Both sites have shipping cost estimators....box it, weigh it, measure the box.
Enter package size, weight, and value into the estimator....include extra value insurance if applicable.
Enter origin and destination addresses.
BTW AARP member gets 5% discount at UPS.

5 years ago I had to buy a tank, after my wife ran over the bike, and it cost $29 to ship it to me from NC to CA.
I can't seem to win the lottery. I think I have used up all of my good luck riding motorcycles.
