Family bikes

Postby 98VS1400 » Wed Feb 25, 2015 5:38 am

I just came across a couple of these pictures. Thought I would share them with you guys.

This first one is of my grandparents back in 1992. My grandfather had just purchased this Intruder 700 and brought it to my house to show to my father, who owned the identical bike. Clearly, my grandmother didn't have any fear of road rash! Flip flops??? She has passed away now, and while my grandfather doesn't ride big bikes any longer, he still gets around on a 125cc scooter!

This is a picture of my father's 2003 Suzuki VL800 Intruder Volusia. He doesn't ride with me often, but every once in a while I can get him to go.

Yep he does. He only bought it maybe 8 months ago. He is talking about getting something bigger, like a 1500, or a Nomad, but I think it's talk.

I'm hoping I can come up with some pics of my bikes. I don't have any, but I steal them from my family as they post them on FB!

My parents and grandparents were never interested in motorcycles. My two brothers ride, but don't currently have bikes. My oldest son rides and so does one of my nephews, but that's about it.
That’s more of a Supper Club than a restaurant
