hey, Paul! what the heck!

yeah, now that you mention it i guess i acquired the v-strom just prior to IA's demise. hehe, looks like all the emoticons, and then some, were salvaged

the strom's becoming heavy for me at +-480 wet. a high seat and the givi topbox contribute to awkward gittin' on and gittin' off. hence a search for a lower, lighter bike has turned up the honda cb500f, about 415lbs for the abs model.
don't die wondering

Bobber, don't forget the 3 month rule. Take it easy and get to know the machine.

Oh I will, while doing my 148 mile a day commute to work and back, but have been riding for 45 years, i think 3 to 5 days is more apt to be my get to know her time, not 3 months :) :rag:

Not sure the actual height, I know I am 5 foot 5 inches tall and it seems just right, but as soon as i can i will measure it....I know it is a slipstreamer windshield, i like the slight tint it has.

Good lookin bike.Must be the angle of the shot but it sure looks real tall to me.I was 5 11 but am sure 5 9 would get me now at 70.I have to look over them or I cut them down.

Measure from the top of the headlight cutout to the top of the screen and let us know.
It looks tall to me too. I like to look over the screen, not through it.
Just curious.

That bike looks just right in that color [emoji106] .They had another color close to that on those bikes with a white in middle of tank that was all so really good looking.

My ongoing project. Can't leave anything I own alone haha. She's really coming together. Only other thing I want is forward controls.
