Bulbs.

I highly recommend these tail/brake LED bulbs.....When brake is applied they flash 3 times & pulse 3 times than stay on steady.......Nice & bright & save power.....But I bought them for the flash/pulse feature.

Was it plug and play or did it need resistors added?

No resistor needed for brake....Works in any 1157 double contact socket.Will also work in car....... Since the LED Bulbs have lower wattage than stock bulbs,when installing on some newer cars, you might need to add load resistor
