Throttle Lock

I remember from the old purple board someone made a throttle lock with rubber bands or something. Does anyone remember anything about it?

They used an O-ring, probably with a 3/16" or 1/4" cross-section.
It needs to be sized so that it can roll into place at the inner end of the grip and provide enough resistance to hold the throttle in place.
