My forever riding buddy and I been having the same discussions on "where" not when we are hitting the road again.. we've sort of worn out our maps in the Western and Eastern states...been throwing around the possibility of making a loop around Lake Michigan, one of the few states we haven't rode yet...
cutting up through the middle of the heartland...Mississippi, Tennessean, Kentucky, Indiana ( youngest son lives in Carmel) and Michigan.
10 Days.... 3,000 + miles ...May have to have some 400+ mile days in the mix... Gonna shoot for a early June departure date next year.. [emoji106]

Anyone ever make that trip?

Still riding? I envy you. Just get on them bikes and go, don’t need maps, just ride. It’s what we do. Maybe someday my old leg will swing over the saddle again and I’ll see ya out there. Or, give me some notice and drop on by.

KAJUN, talk to Tabasco. I think that the NEIAR group did the lake Michigan loop and Tom was on that ride I believe. Maybe Mattsun as well?

I rode from Ft Walton FL, over to Mississippi and up through to Little Rock back in the early 80's, maybe 83-84? Was a nice run but I don't recall the route.

I don't know, but I'm planning on Americade for most of the week in 2019. I'll be retired. I may even take a road test ride or two.
