With the exception of 2 laptops and a wireless head set for my phone my computers Copy machine and Fax are all hard wired. I have a package through Com Cast for my services. But nothing connected to my network is wireless. With the exception of the 2 laptops that I take with me in the truck with a dedicated hot spot.

I need dependability more then convenience in setting things up

I worked at a reasonably nice restruant (still can't effing spell the word though!) in college. Entirely on the weekends when it was permaslammed. Two hour waits for a table was the average. After 18 months of that hell idgaf what kind of service I get. If the food is good I'm going back. If I get service, I tip. In fact, I overtip. As long as I got, more or less, the food I ordered and it doesn't look like it was run over in the parking lot then stuck on a hotlamp before I got it I'm happy.

I have no delusions. I've known many, and read many things about what waitresses and flight attendants and strippers really think about their clientele. It cracks me up when guys actually think it's genuine.

Not long ago I read an article somewhere about the different terms casino waitresses use between each other to label/describe the type of person at each machine or table. It was pretty hilarious.

Kind of confirms my theory for the drive through's around here. Out of everyone working in the store, I think they take the person with the worst English or heaviest accent or fastest talker and give them the window job. I try to avoid any drive through or fast food in general. A few weeks ago we ate at McDonalds for lunch. I don't know what they fed me but it took a week to recover. Seriously, it did a number on my system. Probably a spider burger or something.

What the hell? I never eat fast food, therefore never have problems ordering the usual grease burger or other undigestible questionable untasteable unhealthy unbalanced or otherwise unpalatable fast "food." My momma taught me to eat right and have so far been successfully partaking of nothing but fresh and wholesome ingredients with my meals and at the same time have learned to put together some simple but tasty dishes.

It isnt just fast food which isnt food at all. Its almost everywhere. If I spend My money at an establishment it isnt because its the only place to get what I want. Fast food is a convenience, poor customer Etiquette is not convenient. I dont ask or demand respect form any vender. Just proper service. Fast food is only one example and many times for some of us un marred types that dont have time to sit down to a proper meal us fast food when it is convenient. In my line of work even fast food can be to time consuming.

I hear all the time about contractor's not being able to find enough work and all I have to say about that is "RUBBISH"!!!
We had some damage as I have previously posted due to the ice and snow. [space] One contractor hasn't gotten back with us for a quote in 3 weeks. [space] Another has provided two quotes but neither of them are for the whole project we described.[space] A third wanted to give me some BS line about replacing just piece's of siding, when asked to quote for the total back replacement, and the pieces quote was equivalent to what it should cost to do the entire back. [space] The fourth was SO high on his quote his siding and gutter's must cost three times the local rate.

I don't get it, simple quote. I asked for a quote to replace the gutters and fascia, wrap and reside the back of the house, and replace the capping on one window. Seems pretty straight forward to me, and yet I get all kinds of stupid excuses. [space] One even said insurance companies won't normally pay for total replacement. [space] What's that matter if I am asking for a quote for the whole back? [space] Sheeeez!

....We went through this the last job I contracted out. [space] Shame it has to be this way. I wouldn't have ever when I was in the trades. Guess times change.

...If a contractor can cut a corner to make a bigger profit, and they rightly or wrongly think it's ok to cut that corner, they will.
