Great song anyone might like

Post by jeffcoslacker »

This just popped into my head today. Haven't heard it in like 20 years. So glad I remembered it. Hope you enjoy it too.

No, nothing heavy. Don't be skeered. Very chill song. [emoji106]

Wow, I've been listening to the new Stone Temple Pilots album...this one jumped out at me. It's very easy to listen to, mellow, sounds a lot like Scott Weiland's vocals at their best. Feel bad that I have to judge a new singer by the dead guy but I liked Scott dammit. I think they've found a good match in Jeff.

I swim in oceans of blue sky Autumn hazy
They tell me it's only you
Anticipating the one thing that could save me
But something's not right with the moon
Every time I get by I get closer to thinking
And we don't need that again
I've been sinking in blue eyed Autumn baby
Still thinking back to when

I thought she'd be mine
Thought she'd be mine
I thought she'd be mine
Thought she'd be mine
I thought she'd be mine
Mine in the morning

I walk the streets out of time so tired and lonely
Never to be the same
It could've been something beautiful if only
I opened my eyes too late
Every time that I try words get lost in the wind
And we don't need that again
I've been thinking of blue eyed Autumn baby
I used to remember when

I thought she'd be mine
Thought she'd be mine
I thought she'd be mine
Thought she'd be mine
I thought she'd be mine
Mine in the morning

I thought she'd be mine
Thought she'd be mine
I thought she'd be mine
I thought she'd be mine
I thought she'd be mine
Mine in the morning

I thought she'd be mine
Mine in the morning
Mine in the morning
I thought she'd be mine
Mine in the morning
I thought she'd be mine
Mine in the morning

Can’t speak for everyone, but sounds pretty cool to me. [emoji41]
“Life’s but a walking shadow, a poor player, that struts and frets his hour upon the stage, and then is heard no more.
It is a tale told by an idiot, full of sound and fury…
Signifying nothing”

Signifying monkey, stay up in your tree. Always lying and signifying, but you better not monkey with me.

Isolated it.

Thought She'd Be Mine sounds a lot like the vocals and chords in Velvet Revolver's "The Last Fight", an underrated and great Weiland vocal song.

Samantha Fish.

You don't know her. But you should.
