My pups are well trained gentle creatures, but their predatory nature is vicious, to say the least. Plenty of rodents, squirrels and wood chucks, around here, but they do not venture into our yard. [emoji106]

That is so fricking hilarious....glad I wasn't having a cup of coffee when i read this thread [emoji106]

I have a friendly squirrel in my back yard...... I daily feed around 30 to 40 white wing doves in the afternoon around 5 pm......they will all be patiently awaiting my arrival perched in the nearby pecan trees......along with that bird seed a copious amount of sun flower seeds are mixed in with the bird seed......this squirrel has gotten so used to my presence it comes right down and starts feeding on the sun flower seeds as soon as I spread them on the ground.... it doesn't fear me at all...it sometimes will walk across my feet to get to the seeds...
I've nicknamed it Georgie...gender neutral
If I can remember to bring my cell phone with me I'll snap it and share it

The problem associated with video like that is if someone gets upset enough to contact authorities. The person is easily traced via the website and the fine huge for messing with wildlife.

You woulda loved the one where the guy chucked a 20 gauge shotgun in a wooden rig pointed at the ground, strapped a rat trap to the butt stock with a string from the trap's hammer to the gun's trigger, and put an apple core on the ground with a string running to the rat trap's trigger. Whatever takes the apple gets turned into confetti.

Squirrels are fun to watch, they are amazingly agile and outsmart my dachshund "Luke" on a daily basis. And there is no way to keep them off the bird feeders. They can jump roof to roof, tree to tree, and can withistand my pellet gun. The BBs just bounce off with no ill effects. I once was sitting in the patio when I heard a big THUMP. A squirrel had fallen out of a big oak more than 150 feet up and shook it off and ran away! In the afterlife, I want to come back as a squirrel!
