OK who said I died?

Post by n-trude »

Yes some one notified the bank I died Feb. 4.

I got some money out of a ATM at 12:30, at 1:30 card
was not good at two gas stations. ???
Wife got out and used her card.
Then we stopped to eat Mexican food.
Gave the waitress my bank card and she came back and said it did not go through.

So the branch of my bank was across the street. Went in, and she did some typing,
said they got a notice I had passed away.
From Who? she was not sure some Gov. institution?
She gave me new card, updated my information.

Wife phoned SS after 1 hour on music she came on, I said my story, she asked some backround info.
Then said she can onIy do so much on the phone. ToId me to go into SS for a face to face Monday, :bang:

Paid my taxes, got a smaII refund, in about a week, got my SS check Wed. So not sure what is happening?

I wiII Iet you know what happens. SS may need to feeI my puIse... :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

I better stop compIaining of being oId. :HatTip: ;IDunno: :Umm:

Obviously mistaken identity and shot the wrong person. Reported your death when it actuality you were not.

Had a row with the wife recently,---you did tip the Mexican in the restaurant didnt you.

Check the brakes on the car and look for little packages wrapped up in plastic bags.

Bound to have another go before Monday.

I got an answer the SS reported my demise.

I went for a face to face, and she said we did it, and it was verified.

So with my Passport, Birth Cert. originaI SS Card, Mo. Driving Card aII copied by them.
She said it wouId be a Iayered change. Ride the Wave she said our goaI is to get your March SS
check to come. If not we can make you one here at the office.

She said everything tied to my SS number wiII be effected. HeaIth Iife, retirement. Its a big deaI.

So hope they are abIe to make me whoIe again. Kind of heard of this happening, but never knew anyone it happened to.

Good thing the SS admin admitted they were the party responsible for your demise........ [emoji2]

Identity theft is much worse......you have to change everything about you except your SS number and military service number ( If you have one that is )
all your bank accounts, credit cards...everything that has your ID on it has to be changed.....It's a total train wreck with no survivors :bonk:

Glad to hear you're back in business......it would have been a doosey though .........if you would have had to attend your own funeral  :rag:

Three friends from de local Cajun congregation of Thibodeaux, Louisiana, were asked,

"When you in you casket, and you friends and church members are mournin ova you, what would you like dem to say about you?"

Fontenot said: "I would like dem to say, I was a wonderful husband, a fine Rotary Club man, and a terrific family man."

Doiron commented: "I would like dem to say, I was a wonderful teacher, a faithful servant of da church, someone who made a huge difference in people's lives."
