It gets serious when you have to take your shoes off to count real high.

That's really easy, you are twice their age at 2X, where X is the age you were when the kid was born. Once the kid reaches 2X themselves, you will never again be twice as old as they are. On the other hand, you'll never reach parity either because they will never catch you. Example, if you were 21 when lil Tommy was born you would be 42 when he become 21. Beyond that the difference forever diminishes but will never become 0.98VS1400 wrote:How does math work where you live?old time rider wrote:My kid can never say again I am twice as old as her.

Ha! Just the product of a bored mind. Been raining hard here today so I've been stuck in the house.

Happy Birthday!!!
There will be a time where you will no longer be able to use, "But...I didn't know!", as an excuse. And if you're exiled from society, well, you were warned.

Been rather busy myself John......In fact I just noticed this thread.....thanks for the well wishes folks...
It was an uneventful but busy day.....My sweet wife Cindy had to work a 12 hour shift so I was left alone to my own devices
tended to home chores......trimmed some tree branches,,, washed some clothes...did some grocery shopping.... cut the lawn....
And took a leisurely two hour ride on some back roads
When I returned from my ride I played fetch with my yellow lab for about an hour and a half while downing several LimeAritas...small celebration
JUST ANOTHER DAY IN PARADISE
But I did mention my birthday in the History post for the 13th.. I guess that's where Lechy found the evidence [emoji106]

Always good to see you guys on your toes! Which, if you don't know, you should have 10 of them!
I can't seem to win the lottery. I think I have used up all of my good luck riding motorcycles.

You start with a bag full of luck and an empty bag of experience. The trick is to fill the bag of experience before you empty the bag of luck
