Tim, surely you can't tell me you never seen kids attacking teachers? It happens everywhere to varying degrees of severity.

Really, all you have to do is google it and there's a gazillion examples right there. My neighbour spent 10 years teaching at a government school and can tell you stories that would make your jaw drop. And he's an ex cop. Putting guns in the classroom is just a time bomb.

What Tim says about Arming Teachers IS A REALISTIC Step in the Right direction....likely to save FAR MORE LIVES than the "time bomb" you suggest it is and would would threaten.

WHAT is IT with YOUR dumbass CAPITALS on EVERY second WORD?

Here's the reality - there's a percentage of teachers that get attacked / assaulted by students. Put a gun on those teachers and either they will be tempted to use it on the students or it will get taken off the teacher and used against them / other students.

Only has to happen once and the whole idea becomes a really fucking bad one...

It really is that simple and that stupid to consider arming teachers inside classrooms.

Well, it seems even the cops weren't much help - don't know what good arming teachers will do if the cops shit themselves in that situation....

As usual, dumb as a mud fence. There are already 300,000.000 guns in the hands of Americans, and that’s not counting the bad guys.

An interesting take on this that I found on another forum:
This shooting thing will solve itself in time. Time civilizes nations. The US just needs more time to civilize itself. It is a young country, which was created by guns and violence in recent history.

The European view is that the violence we see in the US (just how many times does Tom Cruise need to be smashed in the face to fall down in any US movie - totally unrealistic violence) is a cultural norm created by your inherently violent history.

I have met US citizens who can recall their grand fathers stories about the shoot outs in the local bars. Disputes settled by guns. Europeans don't have that history in their psyche. You have to work through this.

It will take time for the US to reach the degree of civilization that this level of gun ownership and crime becomes totally unacceptable - maybe 50 to 100 years. At about that time, the country will be civilized enough to take care of it's citizen's health too.

So we can understand why this happens in the US and time will solve this problem.

If you lived next door to me you wouldn’t get very much for your house. Trash to the max and two mean ass junk yard dogs that bark and howl all night.

Bordering? I crossed the border and never looked back the day I was born.

Yeah, let the youngsters carry. Anything they want. M60 machine guns are kinda cool. Way I see it, we are looking eventual civil strife in the eye so let’s get on with it. Don’t you agree? I thought so.

Your ASS-umptive idea of what "reality" is totally overlooks what I just said. In my response to you, I acknowledged that what you whine about might happen.

You and your other left-wing gun-grabbers are Day-dreaming that there is a total, 100% "fix" for this. That there is a possible "solution" wherein no one will ever be attacked or shot at ever again....That some "laws" to confiscate guns will make the Whole World Safe...All will be Goodness and light,...and we will live Happily Ever After.

ALL of you suffer from Reality Detachment. (read: you are all Delusional)

Your ASS-inine ASS-umption that ...."Only has to happen once and the whole idea becomes a really fucking bad one." ...reflects what I just said about you all (highlighted above).

Now READ what was said to you,.....and THINK about it,...before you erp-up yet another one of your Ignorant postings.

I said:

That's because you come from a place that has no parallel to the real world.

Anyone that believes a "gun free zone" stops evil people is an idiot.

I won't copy and paste the article, anyone with the brains to get out of their own way will have the sense to read it.

Sorry freddy, you are out in the cold, again.

Gun free zones, Hmmm thats another way of saying no guns.

Have you tried it? its all you got left. With the mental state of violent aggressive Americans its all you can do.

Sorry to you Herb that you cant work it out You must live 99 miles up a winding road or something.

I have posted simple scenarios that explain the theory but the Admin in there ultimate superior position of censorship have decided it should be deleted and deny you of further knowledge.
