I want to get the hell out of NY.

But...!? But...! I need a place to answer all my questions. I just bought a 95 Intruder 800. And my roommate just bought a 2001. Hopefully this site stays active...

Just to second everyone. Man IA saved my butt so many times and the personalities and treatment of one another was always so appreciated and enjoyed! Life took me away from all things motorcycle for a couple of years so as I just seem to be returning to it and just recently learning of IA demise, I am still a bit in shock. However, after seeing so much similarity in regards to this site, it is a good bit easier to deal with

I do like that bike. The purple board did have a few good people on it especially on the tech board. [emoji106]

Although I miss the IA as every day goes by I'm getting much more used to this forum. I just wish I could figure out how to put a picture of my new bike up before I kick the bucket! [emoji2]

Your bike reminds me of Ninjatos old 1400, pretty sure it was the same color.

Just finding this site (courtesy of SWCoinguy) after being super bummed about IA being gone. I'm shocked the admins haven't reached out to the techies among us for help. Is IA's demise a complete mystery? Seems like it would have to be a combination of (a) the actual glitch that took down the site and (b) the admin(s) is(are) sick/dead/left ages ago. I always assumed the super helpful dudes and ladies that commented on my posts were admins but I guess they were just moderators.

Great job creating this site. Keep riding.

I wish someone had thought of putting all that purple info on a cd or book before letting it die like that. Shame.. it'll take a loooong time to gain all that back; if possible.

At one time I was pretty active on the Tech forum over at the old purple board; things happened to a friend; I caused multiple hard feelings amongst some of the old guard, so I left. I wasn't far & would pop in occasionally. Finally picked up another intruder after 6 yrs without & now visit here. Not as often as I might , but I am around & try to help others when I can. Do not forget there is a Wealth of knowledge in the Wrenching & Tips section of my personal site listed in my sigfile

If you would just link all your wrenching tips to this site from yours....your google rank would go way up! Well, a spot or two at least

I've never been worried about my site's Rank in Google. My site is for my personal enjoyment & was built as a way to give back to the Intruder community I will ask that my info not be copied here, but place a link here back to my site if it has information that someone is looking for. If I don't find work soon, maybe I'll see about updating the site as it's been a long time since that was done & then link all those pages to here

I somebody just references a link to click, Google will like that and up your rank! If on the other hand somebody embeds one of your pages that would just swamp your server and up your bill!
