I am still waiting to change the fork oil seals.... The timing here is eternal...

So I thought I'd get a little ahead with something else in the meantime...

I need the rubber footrests, but they're one of those parts that I don't want to buy original, because they cost an exaggeration and because they're rubber and the originals are at least 20 years old by now, and the rubber by now will be as gone as mine are, mine turn upside down.

There are two different foot rests that fit your bike. Take a look at part number 13.

New rubber parts are coated with a preservative and as long as they are stored out of the sun and weather they will be good for many years.

Yeah, they are pricey to buy new but should last another 20 years.

These days I've been looking a little bit.... They can cost $35 for rubber parts, another $40 for steel pins, $10 for washers.... FOR ONE... plus shipping to Miami and then to the Dominican Republic.... They come to cost me as much as the whole bike....

So I came to a conclusion...

Does anyone have a pair in good condition to sell me? Or can you suggest any sites to buy used parts that can ship to Miami?

Mine are now at the end, if anyone has a used pair in better condition, I'd be happy with them....

Foot pegs are not really that complicated you just need to find some that have the same style mount. Your best bet is to pull one off and take it to a motorcycle dealer or parts yard and as long as it mounts the same way it should be a easy bolt on part.

(looking for the engine starter that went up in smoke today...) But shipping costs a lot... But if maybe someone needs more parts to make just one shipment....

Not knowing anything about your bike I would guess that those will fit.

It is the graft that worries me, will the pin and hole be standard?

Normally, yes. Your best bet is to pull your footrest and check the measurements. But over all most footrests fit almost any bike.

If you have a motorcycle shop anywhere near you it may be worth the trip to see what they have in stock.

Here there are only small motorcycles of brands like gato, loncin, keewee and scooters of absurd Korean brands.... The parts stores have never seen a suzuki in their lives....

I asked about footpegs, they were used (a lot), as big as pedals for children's bikes and do not exist with male pivot...

Hi alebal.
Normally the HD style pegs do not fit the Suzuki footrest bracket. (the graft you worry about.)
Kuryakyn makes a variety of pegs that will fit your bike, BUT you need adapters specific to that bike, then any style Kuryakyn peg will bolt on. They are available most everywhere on line.
Kuryakyn adapters for the VS700, VS800, and VS1400 are discontinued BUT a few places still have old stock.
The number for Suzuki is 8820

Although the listing is for the 1400, years '95-'04, I am confident they fit other years, I know they fit all years of the 800, and will probably fit your 700.
