Maybe its not over heating then. What makes you think it is.

Did a light or gauge indicate it hot? Have been on Gold Wing fours in town in the summer on ride trades. They were so hot to be on but showed cool. My 01 Nomad 2002 in AL. in inches at a time traffic because of a wreck ahead was the most heat ever for me on a motor cycle.95 but felt so much worse than the 104 out west the year before. My friends BMW RT had the danger zone flash a few times beside me but the water cooled Nomad never got out of ok but I did.We were double and the wife and other three of us were just as wet as if we had been in a rain storm. You can not all ways trust a light/gauge but most the time right. Some times they show hot and ok.
