Motogadget m unit blu
Hi!
Trying to figure out how to rewire my Intruder 1400 but dont want to start until I have figured everything out. Has anyone here rewired with the m unit and has a diagram of it?
My main issue is the fuel pump relay, because I want to get rid of all relays to make space.
Any help would be appreciated
Thank you and thanks for an awesome forum!

Welcome to the forum, glad to have you. Start by looking over this thread that will be helpful with wiring and relays. http://www.intruders-alert.com/viewtopi ... am#p205008
If you have any type of electrical issue, have your battery load tested before you do anything else. Any auto parts store will test it for free.

I have a good wiring diagram that is color coded, do a pm to me with your email address and I will send it to you.
I jumpered the fuel pump relay but don't remember which wires I used. Too long ago.

I can't seem to win the lottery. I think I have used up all of my good luck riding motorcycles.

yes, take the hot wire from the fuel pump and splice it into the orange wire going to the ignitor box. This will allow the pump to operate from the ignition direct, the kill switch will shut it down in case of an emergency.

Is that the only config? So the black and yellow from the coil just goes to the ignitor?

If the pump has 2 wires then one is 12volt power, the other is to ground. The O/W is permanent 12 volts to the igniter and coils, the other ones to the coils are pulse wires which collapse the field in the coils thereby causing a spark at the plugs. If the pump has 5 wires the relay is integral with the pump (not usual on the Intruders).
Grow old disgracefully young man.
