ISO 1987 vs1400 intruder parts

Post by 35se »

Hello fellow intruder riders,

I am looking for some parts to buy or swap.

Currents looking for a fuel tank, exhaust (have custom) or baffles to make it sound more like a Harley. Straight handle bars.

Or any other parts for this year. I'll enterian anything and will put up some pictures for any parts people would be interested in for swapping.

Try thunder monster baffles.
I have them on my 1988 1400 with nasty twins and I love them.

Usually not, they are 1-7/8" diameter.
FYI, you can install exhaust that will make it louder, but due to crank configuration, it will never sound like a Harley.

Dang. So I have to change the exhaust anyways? And I know it won't sound exactly, just hoping to get a little closer

What mufflers do you have now?
stock?
aftermarket slip-ons?
aftermarket full system?
none?

Stock. The fat ones not just straight pipes.
