21 inch wheel fits from 1987 to date 1400cc Intruders, Boulevard and 800cc too.
The tire looks great.
The wheel is true and the barrings are included.

Pick up in Los Angeles for $300.00

I will ship to the lower 48 states for $50.00.

It may fit other bikes too.
No mods needed to install. Just bolt on your rotor speedo drive, fender and brakes all fit.

You're well inline. You offered up a reasonable substitution at the price he was willing to pay. I get so annoyed with people who want to low-ball everything when I'm selling, but I try to reign it in because I hate paying asking price myself. It's all a dumb game to me.

The cl ad you posted is expired, did you have any takers?

In case anybody hasn't noticed, the Intruder/Blvd line of VS800 -1400 hasn't been made in ... ten years or so.

They are disappearing into the back of garages and barns. Plenty have been crashed. Some are just plum tuckered out and have hit the junkpile as parts bikes. In short, their numbers are less and less every year. Hence, the market for the wheel is also less and less every year. What somebody paid or was willing to pay 10 years ago is not what the wheel is worth today. Frankly, he'll be lucky to sell either wheel anywhere near his prices right now. Note the amount of the offer, that reflects the more accurate value in todays market, not yesteryears.

The wheel is only worth what somebody will pay for it. A bike site that features Intruders or ebay is probably the best place to list them. Ebay grabs 10%, IA doesn't. The offer he got should have been jumped on. He thinks he has gold; but in reality he has something that is worth less and less every day.

The offer I made of 175.00 + shipping was really Low for this part and Had Prince taken it I would have jumped on it and stored it as a spare and made a profit if I sell. Parts for these bikes are becoming hard to find items. So these parts fall into a different market then they did years ago. The fact that Intruder’s are disappearing does affect the price and Like all classic and hard to find part’s can drive the price up depending on how bad a buyer needs the part.
Princes counter offer” $225.00 + $50.00 shipping” is a fair price And defiantly worth thinking about.. By the time I was able to log in and post the painted wheel was on the table.
I have 2 1400’s My 95 has the 21inch wheel My 87 has a 19inch and I have a spare 19 in the basement. I don’t really need another wheel. If I can get another 21inch wheel for a killer price Ill get it. Im at a point with both bikes that desire for spare parts and not the need dictates how much I am willing to spend.
In all honesty This could have been fun Offer counter Offer and so on with Bids going up a buck at a time But it seems its much simpler to look and the negative.

All of us in this forum are members of a club those of us that own or want own Intruder for what ever mental disorder we have, need to stick together to keep these scooters running
