SOLD : vs800, 750, 700 Mapam Forward Controls with Folding Footpegs

250 plus shipping or make offer.

(Just the fwds; not shipping the stock peg bracket. Unless you really need another one; makes no sense to increase shipping costs)

Used but in great condition - Mapam Forward Controls with Folding Footpegs.
These forward controls move your feet approximately 9" forward.

I love mine. In fact I just (last night) modded mine so the shift throw is much shorter. Now just a click of my toes and it shifts into the next gear. Previously it took a bit of movement to get into the next gear up.
These are a big help for anyone who needs more leg room. I wear a 36" inseam and I'm much more comfortable now. They are pretty easy to install too.

Sure, do I have to use photobucket? How are YOU able to post pics directly to a thread? Over on the old board I used the bucket a couple times but it's such a pain now because photobucket sucks balls. I'd rather be able to post pics into a thread instead of posting a link. I'd like to post all of the mods I've done at some point, I'm getting closer to being done(yeah right)

How is it that your pics show up instead of just a link? Can I buy a membership that allows pics to be posted directly to the site? Over on the Delphi site basic(free) members can only post links. A paying member can post pics from their computer and a top level membership allows unlimited searching and more space for pics and some other perks. I pay for the lowest level so I can post directly to the forum and it allows me to search for posts up to a year ago, the higher level can search back to the beginning of the forum.
I'll take a couple pics and e-mail them to you.

To put pics here, you need to hit the Insert Picture Tab above the writing box.. 3rd one over to left of the Font/Text Color Tab. Once your code is where you write; you paste your direct link between it.

Got it brother. Thank you.

"They give a fair idea of what I did but if you want specifics just ask.
First pic shows the arm I used. It's actually an OEM horn bracket that I had laying around. It's pretty rough but it gives me the info I needed. I wouldn't want that bracket any longer. It might actually be better if it was a hair shorter. Shifting feels like a sport bike now, maybe a little tighter actually. Shifting now requires a minor lift and just a touch to go down. Before this mod o had to lift my foot off the peg to upshift.
I straightened the horn bracket a little but left enough offset to accommodate the linkage.
Surprisingly I didn't have to adjust the arm length at all, everything lined up.
I used the original hole in the forwards and drilled a new one farther forward to mount the bracket. Other than that it was a bolt and go mod."

No problem, thanks for posting them. I hadn't heard from you so I wasn't sure I sent them to the right person - If you or anyone else has a question just yell.
Now that I know it does what I wanted it to do I'm going to look for a nice clean horn bracket to replace that rusty one.
