ISO Luggage supports 87 vs1400

Post by Duckiemonster »

Looking to buy a set of oe suzuki saddlebag supports before I buy saddlebags, can pick up locally around reno nv, as far as Sacramento if necessary. Would like to avoid the universal styles if possible. Thanks!

The OEM part you need is 990A0-75017
They are discontinued, but a quick search yields this:

But I have a pair, $120 shipped.

Do yours look like the ones in the picture? Or do they look like this?

I'm guessing the Oneida website may be using a stock photo, but I love the style that bolts to the shock mount and has that bend to protect the bags from the shock. If they're that kind I'll take them. What's your preferred payment method?

They look like the Oneida picture:

Also exactly like this:
Which are on ebay, his price is better but have rust, mine are in better condition.

They mount inside the fender, the rear bolts to the rearmost pillon bar bolt (remove the plastic cap to access), the front mounts to the fender attachment just rear of the shock. They bend outward and down to keep the bags off of the shock.
The 800 and 1400 use the same part number.

I prefer Paypal, email me or buy the rusty ones a little cheaper, or look around more, your choice.

And then there are these, that have a different bend/weld configuration, but look like they will fit...maybe an earlier rendition.

Yours look awesome, I was only 75% awake when I saw the Oneida picture (night shift sucks). I'll email you but have not been getting replies from the website for some reason, tried to email designer for some clutch springs and haven't heard back, could be because I'm relatively new and he thought I was a spam bot. I'll include my info for you to invoice me πŸ‘Œ

Try send a PM with your email address in it instead of an email.

If you have any type of electrical issue, have your battery load tested before you do anything else. Any auto parts store will test it for free.

Hi! I sent you an email a few weeks back looking to get some of your venerated clutch springs! The website was finicky and my email inbox was acting up as well, but I'm still interested!
