1996 and 1995 VS1400 Complete Partouts

Post by Polkahero »

I just recently parted out two VS1400 models. Black/red 1995 model and a teal/white 1996 model. 95 powered up and turned over, good engine compression. I was unable to power up the 96 model but I tested most of the components on a running 96 model. Seat and sissy bar on the 96 model are Harley parts, won't fit any stock VS1400 models. Let me know what you're looking for and I'll reply back with prices and availability. Bikes pictured below.

Just noticed this, don't get notifications of replies. Teal tank is sold, black is still available. $300 USD plus shipping. Has a few minor dents and is clean inside.
I kept the driver portion of the seat on the black bike for another project. Passenger portion is available.

Thought you asked about a 21" front rim too.. This has a lip so probably no good unless you or someone you know can fix it. I probably have stems but the lowers on them aren't in good condition. I'll have to keep looking.

Thanks Bronx, yeah i did say a 21" but I hadn't heard back so threw a new tire on (and the clowns must have dropped it and bent the disc) to go for a ride before winter comes.

Still keen to price the stem/triple tree but might have pressed the disc straight. A 21" depends on cost and spousal approval.

If the lowers are that bad i could look at getting it re-chromed, if it works out cheap enough? Or press out the stems and swap (when replacing the bearings i discovered mine has cuts from PO removing lower bearing)

Both fuel tanks are sold. I'm keeping the driver portion of the black seat for another project, passenger portion is still available.
