Looking for Suzuki emblems

Post by Swcoinguy »

Im looking for the Suzuki emblem that is on the back of the sissybar/tool box. There are two different types that I'm aware of. To the best of my knowledge the earlier versions are the word Suzuki with a bird head and wings above and below. The other version I've seen is the word Suzuki with a stylized wing above and below. The difference may be that one is for 800 an the other is for the 1400 but I'm not 100% on that. Either way I need a pair of them so if you have one(or two)that I can get my hands on let me know. I only need the emblem not the tool box or any other parts. If you have one please say so and hopefully enough of you will have them that I can get a matched pair. Thanks in advance for any help with this.

No one has a sissybar or tool box laying around with these emblems that they don't care about, need, or want?

[quote="FallenAngel"]This is one I have on the 95

That's one of the two I'm looking for but I don't want one that's made out of gold lol. I'd like to find one that's made of plastic and not priced at $40. I found several new emblems but for the price I'll live without it. I asked if anyone here had emblems they weren't using so I didn't have to pay for half a bike to get one.
I have one of the emblems like in the Ebay listing you linked to but I need a matched pair to do what I want. I also have one that's very similar but it doesn't have the birds head, just the "wings" above and below Suzuki so if I can find another of either one I can use the pair but right now one of each does me no good. Thanks for trying though.

I agree that is a lot of money for that piece I have one on my 95 and was looking for one for my 87,it has a very tasteless chrome Mud flap girl. I to can live with out it.

Here is a suggestion
Make one
Make a mold out of the one you have
Melt some aluminum and fill the mold

Here is the sand for making the mold

Or you could make one from plastic or even fiberglass resin and use plaster for the mold

Thanks, that's one of the two styles that I can use but $30 for an emblem is more than I want to pay. If you run across anything else please post it like you did this one. Thanks again.
