Hi everyone
My name is Denis and I picked up a 97 Intruder 1400 over the weekend. The good news is it has only 1200 miles. The bad news is that it was neglected and serviced poorly. It came with two boxes of parts. [emoji53] So I’m putting it back together, cleaning carbs and looking for some spare parts. Need front and rear fenders to start. Maybe part of the rear seat. If you have any parts for sale let me know. I look forward to hearing from you.

Congrats on the bike...
Gotto love the ultra sonic cleaner. I’ve picked opne up two years ago and have cleaned most of my carbs (bikes, ATV, lawnmower) and even my neighbors’ tractor carb. I love it. Little trick to keep the cleaner clean, put the cleaning fluid in a large ziplock bag, put the parts into the bag, and fill the cleaner with water only. The waves do transfer, and this way you can eventually put all kinds of things (like the wife’s jewelry) in the cleaner without cross contamination.
You should post on the 1400 board for more attention from fellow 1400 owners.
Is the bike running yet?
Take care, talk with you soon.
