Picking up a vs800 in a couple of weeks. Never really liked the look of the intruder, simply because of that goofy looking neck it has, but from what ive been reading and hearing, they're pretty quick bikes, and basically the same as the vz800, which I have owned before, and liked very much, until I wrecked it, and it caught on fire. Haha...
I was scooting around on a vt600 shadow for a bit. Bobbed it, put some velocity stacks on it, and a sweet sissy bar. It zoomed pretty good from a dig, but passing on that thing is super sketchy. Anyhow, it needs an entirely new electrical system, and I've been tied up throwing money at a truck that needs some head work so I'm without wheels ATM, but my bosses boyfriend recently turned me on to an intruder that's in pretty good shape and the guys only selling it for $600 cause he bought a Harley. Needs a master cylinder rebuild, but that's a cheap and easy fix. Anyhow, I look forward to lurking the forum, and getting whatever advice you guys got on mods.
