Hello from Texas!

I'm a transplant from the now defunct (I guess) intruderalert.com site. I own a 99 Intruder VS800. :HatTip:

Hey Soakedkarma! Yeah, it's not the easiest motor to work on imho. Hope you don't have to mess w the carbs any time soon. They are crammed in there tighter than a bulls a-hole during fly season.

Haha...yes, it does translate to drunkard. Carried over from my college days. I have cut back a bunch since then but do still enjoy a cold one or a dirty vodka martini (or both).

Actually, that is a fairly common "proverb" here in TX.

Have a good weekend...ride safe!

Welcome [emoji106] .I was on the purple allso as Paul. Only been to Texas twice 1983 and around ten years later for a week. Both times Dallas/Fortworth area.My dad was a proud member of the Texas 36 T-Patchers and saw lots of combat with them in WW II and lost a lot of friends still buried in France. My brother has been in Austin over twenty years and plans on making it home.So guess I have ties.I did like the people both times but does the wind ever stop? [emoji2] It was so hot the wind did not help.

Howdy from the hill country. I have a 2000 vs1400 I'm resurrecting. It's been an interesting project. Would love to meet some members on here for some rides in the near future. Let me know.
