Owner of a 96 1400 problem child
Picked her up last july after she sat most of her life. Had her out on the road but usually my trips ended in tows home. Almost have her right for the spring but always something popping up. Love this bike tho and would be happy to meet any other intruder riders in ohio if any hangout here. Thanks for having me!

Welcome to the board.
I really like the looks of your bike.

I can't seem to win the lottery. I think I have used up all of my good luck riding motorcycles.

Re: From Ohio
Thanks!
Well, atm, i seem to have gear shifting issues so i will be poking around here to find some guidance for that for sure lol
I cleaned the tank thoroughly, swapped in new filters, hard the carbs synced in the fall(probably gotta do it again with the new k&n filters tho,) new plugs, coils, starter relay, fuel pump, fuel lines, fuel filters, new ricks stator, repaired all the bad chop job wires and replaced brake and clutch fluids. Going to rebleed the clutch and see if that solves my issue. If not, probably looking at a deeper clutch issue.
Cosmetically i upgraded the mirrors, turn signals, headlight bulb, added a windshield and added a comfy leather strap down the tank cuz it just plain looks cool to me

If you have any type of electrical issue, have your battery load tested before you do anything else. Any auto parts store will test it for free.
