Not sure if this was the original one that I was a member of back in the day but either way, glad to be here. Just picked up my another VS1400 today but it's a basket case.

If you have any type of electrical issue, have your battery load tested before you do anything else. Any auto parts store will test it for free.

Right now I'm just trying to get the bike to run. Looks like the gas tank is shot, it has a LOT of large rust flakes and a decent size rust hole. The kid that had it attempted to do some kind of work and lost a lot of stuff. I can't get the starter to engine using the starter button. Trying to figure out if the fuel pumps self prime or rely on gravity from the fuel tank to supply them fuel.
