If you have any type of electrical issue, have your battery load tested before you do anything else. Any auto parts store will test it for free.

There are plenty of people here with experience on the 700-800, also a large number of experienced people in MC maintenence.
I can't seem to win the lottery. I think I have used up all of my good luck riding motorcycles.

Hi Caden, welcome! I'm new here as well, and recently got the exact same bike.

Haven't needed to repair anything yet, but I'm eager to hear about your experience and continue to build a knowledge base here in the forums around the '86 vs700 for when my time comes.

What are the repairs you have in store?

Also, once had a cat named Caden. One of the greatest creatures I've ever known.
