Home Made Sour Cream and Onion dip

Postby -DC- » Tue Oct 27, 2015 10:38 am

Keepin it simple....for every 16 oz container of sour cream add 1 envelope of Lipton's "Recipe Secrets" Onion soup and dip mix (Sold in boxes of 2 envelopes)..

Dump the sour cream in a bowl, pour in onion soup mix, stir in or better yet blend in with a blender....Put the concoction in a sealable container and put in the fridge overnight (this lets the soup mix disolve and blend in)....By the next day you have great dip for a party.....

Your welcome.....

It's funny ... I HATE plain sour cream ... but when you but onion mix in it ... I can't stop dipping the chips.

I never tried fridging overnight first, definitely sounds like a good tip.

Yeah, sour cream by itself sucks, IMPO....Curry can fix it real fast though.
