He runs through this like it's nothing...what's up with the hat? I have no idea. When you play guitar well, you can be whatever kinda weird you want.
There doesn't seem to be any more embellishment being used other than some kind of echo recycle pedal effect or something, just needed to "twin" the notes he plays. I could never get two simultaneous parts of a piece going...nooo...he's playing a bass line and the melody, or whatever you call it. I'm not a music guy.
