One of the best songs and versions of the song of all times.
Lord of the Thighs from Live Bootleg. I had the 8 track.

8 track? (snicker)
Wore toys in the attic to death. So much so I had to buy another 8 track cartridge to replace it. Sun melted it. Never heard the bootleg album (1978?). After draw the line I lost interest, but revisiting is fun.

Oh man Aerosmith has put out some really good stuff since you lost interest. Live Bootleg is one of the best live recordings ever IMO.

A lot of it I just haven't heard. I think they took a long hiatus before 'pump' was released, correct? This is when I moved on. They've done a lot of songs I liked since then, but it never really clicked for me again like the vintage stuff. Maybe I should revisit this.
Honestly, I no longer listen to this kind of music everyday like I did back in the day, but I can still relate because I grew up with it. It'll always have a special place.

I guess Queensryche first came out sooner than I thought (83?). If I remember correctly, they didn't get a lot of air time until a few years later. Jet city woman and Silent Lucidity were good but overplayed. I knew nothing of them before then. Like em though. Meanwhile I'll check out the live bootleg now.

Meanwhile back to some metal. Here are a few of my favorite Megadeth tracks. Not for those who don't like pounding drum beats.
Angry Again Megadeth
Train of Consequences Megadeth
Trust Megadeth
She Wolf Megadeth

Silent Lucidity is still a great song. Here are a couple of more from the first and second albums
The Lady Wore Black Queensryche From their original 4 song EP
Blinded Queensryche From their original 4 song EP
The Warning Queensryche Title track from the 2nd album.
Road to Madness Queensryche 2nd album
No Sanctuary Queensryche 2nd album
Take Hold of the Flame Queensryche 2nd album

Here is a Queensryche album that should be listened to in it's entirety because to tells a story. Obviously the songs are very good in an off themselves but they do go in order, sort of like The Wall.
