Ok I have finually gotten the time and money to finish putting my bike back together. She turns over and I have gas fumes coming from the excaust, but no joy on ignition.
Battery is new, connections are clean and tight. Going to check for spark later today.
Any other things I should check, not sure how to set multi testers to see about bad componets.
Being so close to riding again that this is driving me crazy. Yes I am definatly suffering from PMS. (Parked Motorcycle Syndrome. )
The carbs were off the bike while this was going on, when I reinstalled them set them back to there prior settings. Could that be too rich now?

Make sure that you have the coils connected to the ignitor correctly (experience).

Yes fresh fuel. Drained the carbs when I pulled them. Fresh fuel in tank also.
