2000 vs800 tire question

I know Factory rear tire size is 140 / 90 - 15 my question is will a 150 / 90 - 15 fit on the rear?
It depends on the tire profile. Some will fit without problems, some you have to let the air out of to get it past the frame parts. Once in, though, the fit is snug, but should be OK to ride.
BTW, why would you want a slightly wider tire? It doesn't fit the rim as well, and is less than 1/2" wider; all it will do is change the handling a little bit, and probably not for the better.
