Saddlebag brackets

Post by Baysideintruder »

I need to purchase brackets for my new medium bags. I put an ad in the Flea Market section but if that fails then I will need order online.
I was hoping this vast knowledge base can assist me in finding the right fit.
Has anyone ordered ones that were perfect? Maybe ones that are horrible? From where?
I read some JP reviews and I see some brackets are too short, some don't bolt up right and some require moving of the blinkers.
Any and all input is greatly appreciated. I want to get my bags mounted asap.
Thanks for all replies.

I can't help you here, I fabricated my own and fixed a set of indicators to the bags.

If you are going to just mount the bags you can get any that are close to the size off E-bay.I go for cheap used ones then just bend till holes line up with your mount holes.I have a old set of $3.00 sportster ones on my C50 for the last 30,000.If throw over and do not want that cut off enough to bend over a strip of scrap metal you have cut and drilled holes at the bolt locations.Bend the extra over this and super glue are just leave tucked over as if will stay put on most stuff.
