BTW - the stainless looking screw looks aftermarket as well. Don't think I ever seen an OEM screw that isn't brass.

I was thinking the same thing but not sure since I have two pairs and so far all the screws have been grey possibly a coincidence but who knows

I could be wrong - but I know Dynojet use stainless slide needles which are notorious for sawing through the needle seats on downdraft carbs that have the slides laying flat. Wouldn't surprise me if they also make stainless idle screws.

Bike is running after drilling out the top didn’t want it to come to this but I exhausted all other options, Im gonna get the bike to run as well as possible and just be on the search for a parts bike or donor rear carb, this is a budget bike and I don’t wanna spend 300+ for just a rear carb I did find one guy selling parts from a marauder, if I changed the cable pulleys over wouldn’t that work they are the same carb they just use different cable attachments.

Well, never thought I’d say this but I got the bike “synced”
I got the fluid in my manometer to be level but the bike was kinda fluctuating here and there but would come back to level im assuming this is an air/fuel related thing but with my situation I’m satisfied lol

I looked at my plugs just to see and the rear is sooty, which I’m sure is because of the mixture screw ordeal but is it correct to assume it’s safer to be rich? It seems to run pretty damn good I’m sure my mpg will suffer a little but anything’s better then my truck lol

During accel and decel, the manometer will vary, but settles out at constant rpm.
Good you got her going.

Now this is the news we've all been working for. GREAT!

If the fluctuations aren't too extreme and frequent, this is not out of The Norm.

Do keep an eye,...or would that be an ear?,...out for changes in the Idle Speed though.

Thanks for all the help, I’m sure I’ll be back in no time with something else but for now it’s reassembly time.
