It seems to me the engine block and all are the same and will fit in the frame, but there might be other peripheral things that might need to be worked out to make this swap reliable.

We have some EXPERTS on the 700/750/800 sized Intruders here that will guide you.

Straight swap, you will probably need the 800 carbs and CDI.
