TEMP LIGHT sometimes comes on and off when idling.

Does the temp light come on at the same time as the fan???
and does the temp light and fan turn off at the same time????

The temp light does not go off at the same time as the the fan.
Sounds like the temp light wire is shorting somewhere?

I will check the upper and lower temp of radiator. My brother in law has a hand light I can use. It'll be awhile before I see him. I'll post the results.

The fan does cycle on and off.

The impeller looks great. No corrosion. Moves slightly and freely so I I'm thinking it works.

If the fan is cycling then could be a faulty temp sensor
I would test the sensor if you dont find a shorted wire

FOUND THE PROBLEM! It was a smashed wire that touched the frame periodically. Took some intense searching. Now I ready to ride, and ride, and ride, and ride....
