You have a bad short to ground somewhere in the wiring. Check places that the wiring could rub or get gouged.
I had that issue when the wiring to the kidkstand switch came loose and fell down on the exhaust.

I can't seem to win the lottery. I think I have used up all of my good luck riding motorcycles.

If it blows the 25 amp fuse before the others,.it's likely a pretty big short-to-ground as Herb mentions.
And because it blows The Big One (25 Amp Main) not the 10 Amp ones, I'd start my search looking over the Main Wiring that gets powered up before the Fuse Box gets power to those 10 Amp Fuses.

It's gotta be the flux capacitor.
If you have any type of electrical issue, have your battery load tested before you do anything else. Any auto parts store will test it for free.

Thanks for the input everyone- I think it was a loose ignition fuse that I noticed - all other fuses were tight fitting except that one - it seems loose (I bought the bike used). I pushed it back in all the way but it’s not as tight fitting as the other fuses - so it’s taking the blame for this

I had the same thing happen on a replacement solenoid with inbuilt main fuse on my 1500 (not sure if the 800 has the same?). I had to pull the cover off to get to the pins and squeeze them tighter.Georgey wrote: ↑Tue Jun 06, 2023 12:06 pmThanks for the input everyone- I think it was a loose ignition fuse that I noticed - all other fuses were tight fitting except that one - it seems loose (I bought the bike used).
