I had a Scorpion battery in my 1400 that lasted 6 years. The only issue was that when it failed it did it all at once, no warning what so ever. Stopped for gas one day and it wouldn't start back up. But that was on me because I really should have just replaced it after the 5th year. I went with Scorpion over other brands only because they had good reviews and were significantly cheaper than some of the popular brands. I did keep it on a tender most of the time which may have added to the life of the battery.

Here are the choices for the VS800.

If you have any type of electrical issue, have your battery load tested before you do anything else. Any auto parts store will test it for free.
