vs700/750 and 800 ecu

hello, my friend has an issue with the bike, while running at 100km/h+ (60mp/h), it starts choking or smth like that, he checked carbs, air filters and all other things, nothing helped. his bike is vs750 '87, but his ecu is 38a10, but it should be 38a00, could it be the reason why the bike is not running properly? sorry for mistakes

If the ECU has the proper plugs, and the bike runs...that is not your issue.
Most likely a carb sync issue.
