Clutch line

Post by grandmalette »

We have an issue with the clutch line. The current one is almost 7 feet long. It was zip tied up and down the frame. What is the stock legnth of this thing. And any ideas where i can find one.

The stock line is two pieces with a fitting in between so you can put a longer section on the front if need be.
Rear is 46" (counting all the bends), front is 17"...making 63" total length.
These measurements are from a 07 S50 with stock 6" risers and drag bars. The exposed line from the front of the tank extends 15" to the master.

Any industrial shop that makes up hoses can do this. I had one made up using a teflon line with braiding. The challenge is getting the right fitting at the slave end, so it bends and fits under the cover.
I cut the twisty bent end from a stock line and had them attach it to the teflon line so it fit nicely at the slave.

I also have a OEM line for sale if you are interested.
