My IP is banned for some reason

IP is permabanned, account isn't. Can still access the board with VPN. Minor inconvenience. I don't know why it could be banned and I'd like it to not be. It happened right after I contacted Designer through board email I think. Maybe it was automated to counter spammers or whatnot.

Yes but maybe the IP address when previously "banned" was somehow entered incorrectly? Accidentally changed even?

The other possibility is the provider has somehow managed to re-use a previous IP address number??

I checked the banned IP list and his wasn't there. His account shows that he is a registered user, so he should be good. The odd thing is he can log in from a phone but not a computer.

Many thanks for the help guys but still the same problem.
Few words of clarification. I'm able to log in when using mobile data transfer - then the IP is different.
The problem is when I switch back to my fiber optic network. Then the IP is different as I sent in the message. When I use WiFi on the phone, the same problem occurs.
For some reason it's blocking me when I'm using my home network. This is weird because I'm working remotely from home on several PC's around the world and it works fine. Also the browser seems not be a problem as I tried several different.
